Let’s rally together across the state!

In Central and Eastern Oregon, Cascades East Association of REALTORS® have opportunities to get involved throughout the week with organizations including Shepherd’s House, Habitat for Humanity, Furnish Hope, and local community blood drives, helping organize donations, build and landscape homes, assemble furniture for families in need, and serve communities across the region.

In the Portland area, Portland Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® members will be volunteering with the Oregon Food Bank on June 1, 2, and 6, helping sort and prepare food donations for distribution.

If you’re in the southern part of the state, be on the lookout for Klamath County Association of REALTORS® on June 1. They’ll be working on their adopt-a-highway cleanup, bringing safety and beauty to their community along Highway 140 and Lakeshore Drive.

April 2026 housing data for Oregon reflects a market with modest growth and continued price stability. Total sales increased 2.4% year over year, while the median sales price held steady at $510,000. Listings rose slightly by 0.7% year over year, reaching 20,705 statewide, giving buyers more options as inventory remains balanced at 5.56 months.

NAR just published an easily digested and comprehensive report on existing home sales as of March this year. 🏡

According to NAR, existing-home sales fell 3.6% in March compared to February and are down 1% year-over-year, a slower start than many expected this spring. At the same time, experts estimate the market needs 300,000–500,000 more homes to reach a more balanced supply.
