The NAR Board of Directors wrapped up the week of RLM in DC with some important updates.

✅ Congratulations to our own Colin Mullane, who is now NAR President-Elect, and to newly elected Treasurer Patti Fitzgerald.
✅ 2027 NAR dues will remain at $156. That’s right, no increase.
✅ Professional Standards were updated, including an important amendment to how REALTORS® handle compensation requests with unrepresented sellers.

May 2026 housing data for Oregon reflects a balanced market with slight year-over-year softening. Total sales declined 3.9% compared to May 2025, while the median sales price remained relatively stable at $521,000, down just 0.8% year over year. Listings decreased 5.4% from a year ago to 22,514 statewide, and inventory was reported at 5.71 months.

A behind-the-scenes look at how leadership transitions are done right. ✅

Yesterday, our incoming vice presidents and vice presidents-elect gathered with our current president, president-elect, and the first vice-president, and our CEO for a full leadership orientation. They covered how the Association operates, what's changing under our recently approved governance updates, and what the path forward looks like through 2027.

This group will begin leading in November, and we want them and you to feel confident they're ready.

Leadership in a professional Association is a real commitment, and we take it seriously. You’ll see plenty more of these folks as we move closer to the November transition.
