A couple of weeks ago I shared a link to an anonymous survey about buying and selling your home. I wanted to share some of the results and give another opportunity for you to add your experience if you would like, the link is at the end. I will publish all of the results at the end of the month.

So far the results from this survey.

When asked, how did you find your realtor?
67% found their realtor through a personal referral of a friend or family and 33% found them on social media.

How many realtors did you consider before choosing yours?
67% said between 2 and 3.

Did your realtor make you sign an agreement and get prequalified with a lender before they would show you houses?
60% per cent said both. 40% said only pre qualified.

How long did your home buying or selling process take from start to finish?
100% said 1 to 3 months.

Did your realtor help you get a better deal than you expected?
60% said it was what I expected, 40% said better than expected.
