An “MLS” is a private organization that collects and organizes the real estate listings of all its member brokers in one centralized place to allow other brokers to cooperate in assisting the buyers and sellers they represent. An MLS may provide information directly to the public (as WVMLS does through wvmls.com) or solely through its member brokers, who must be licensed real estate brokers or appraisers to belong to the service.
