The most common question we hear right now: "Should I wait for interest rates to drop?"

Here's an honest answer.

No one knows exactly when rates will fall, or by how much. If you wait for the perfect rate, you may also be waiting while prices keep climbing, inventory tightens back up, and competition increases.

What tends to work better: buy when it makes sense for your life and your finances. If rates drop later, you can refinance. You can't go back and buy the house you missed.

That said — this is a personal decision based on your situation, not a one-size-fits-all answer.
