Three weeks ago I thought I understood contracts. I was wrong.

This week I sat across the table while a Buyer and Seller worked through a repair negotiation, and I took more notes than I did in my entire licensing course. Getting to learn this business alongside Kamee Shrope and her team at Engel & Vƶlkers means I get to watch how a top producing agent handles pressure, and Iā€™m taking mental notes on every interaction.

A few things Iā€™m carrying into the next week: read every addendum twice, ask the ā€œobvious ā€œquestion anyways, and never assume the other agent has the same information you do.

To the agents further down this road, whatā€™s the one thing you wish someone had told you your first year?
