At this National Day of Service, on the 25th anniversary of 9/11/2001, MGB+A Studio, Utah Water Ways, Progressive Plants, and many volunteers got together to plant water-wise plants at the Governor’s Mansion. In collaboration with CRSA, our design team has worked on master planning, design, and improving circulation at the Mansion for the past couple of years, and it is rewarding to see it take shape.

In February 2026, Utah Water Ways approached MGB+A to plan a full park strip conversion, replacing the lawn with water-wise plants and adding a drip irrigation system for the parking strip; today, it all came together with the help of many volunteers. Many hours were spent in front of this building, home to many Utah governors, transforming the park strip into a carpet of native plants under the sycamore trees.

We are grateful for the volunteers' hard work and dedication to serving our community. Working together, we added a meaningful touch to the landscape design, and it was rewarding to be part of it.

Since 1979, Abravanel Hall has held a special place in the heart of Salt Lake City’s arts community. The space is revered for its exceptional acoustics and sophisticated architectural design.

In 2015, MGB+A worked with a multidisciplinary design team to renovate the facility’s plaza. The renovation focused on enhancing user experience within the plaza and accentuating the beautiful building façade with a stunning new landscape. The plaza was transformed into a welcoming gathering space – trees, benches, walkways, and outdoor rooms provide a comfortable space for concertgoers to enjoy as they make their way inside.

Kids are always excited to go to the park, but the design for the new Teton River Park invites parents to join in the fun too!

This park in Rexburg, Idaho welcomes visitors of all ages to explore an array of amenities including pavilions, trail connections, sports courts, a bouldering area, and playgrounds.

Meet our summer interns, Anders and Beya! Their bright personalities bring joy to our office, and we are grateful they chose MGB+A for their internships!

This summer they'll be working with our team on a variety of landscape architecture projects while gaining hands-on experience in the profession. Say hello to them if you come by the office!

The plants are filling in and showing the design intent at the Cleveland, Ohio Temple this week. If you live near Cleveland or are traveling through the area, come experience the Temple grounds firsthand and enjoy the landscape! We design these spaces with the intent to be enjoyed by all.

The public open-house tours at the temple will continue until July 3rd. Take this opportunity to explore and appreciate the vision come to life.

Our marketing team is honored to receive the SMPS Utah Cornerstone Award in the Event/Holiday Piece category for our yearly calendar. The calendar is a marketing piece we have shared with clients since 2016, showcasing projects we have accomplished together, while embodying our brand. This recognition is a testament to our team’s creativity, hard work, and the power of collaboration in our studio. Celebrating alongside inspiring marketers and witnessing their outstanding achievements made the event truly memorable.
