Spring officially starts today (March 20, 2019) for the northern hemisphere! Here are some tips to stand out in the spring real estate market!

1. Stage your home! It's incredible what rearranging furniture can do to the appeal of your home! Let a professional come in and add pieces of furniture and take some out. So many people have a hard visioning what a home could look like!

2. De-clutter. Put away books, clothes, blankets, and toys of any kind! Put a few air fresheners throughout the home. I can't tell you how many times my clients and I have walked into a home and immediately walked out because it smells horrible!

3. Have a professional video done of your home! This is one of the easiest ways to make your home stand out! People are nosey! They want to see as much as they can before they walk into the home. You'd be amazed the turnouts we get on our listing just by running a few video ads!

4. Don't get greedy! Listen to the advice of your agent when listing your home. If you overprice your home you'll destroy any chances of competing with homes similar to yours. The longer your home stays on the market the harder it gets to sell it!
