Just represented a buyer on this one and something interesting happened. We made a strong offer. There were no other offers at the time. The listing agent shopped our offer to try to generate more buyers and called for highest and best. Another buyer came in and the Seller accepted the other offer instead of ours. Four days later… that buyer backed out. They came back to us and asked if we still wanted the property. We did — but we offered $5,000 less than our high before and got it. That decision cost the seller $5,000. Negotiation matters. When you hire an agent, make sure you hire someone who is a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE).

23 years ago I played my last city league softball game… and ended up in the hospital. Thought it would be a good idea to make a comeback this year 😅 First pitch of the game… I ripped a hot shot straight through the infield into the outfield. Would’ve been a double… But I tore my hamstring trying to get there. Same hamstring. Same injury. Same trip to the ER 😂 My son Brandon Supinger, who plays on the same team and is a paramedic, got the honor of wheeling me into the emergency room 🚑 The good news? They ruled my hit a single, put in a pinch runner, and we scored our first run of the game and season ⚾️🙌 Guess I picked up right where I left off… in the hospital. lol
