Our good friends talked us into getting paddleboards this year, and we are loving it.

We took Goldie out for her first paddleboard adventure, and she did so well. She’s surprisingly comfortable hanging out on the board and seems perfectly happy to be along for the ride.

We’re still working on convincing her that swimming can be part of the fun. We’ll get there.

A little preventative maintenance now is a whole lot better than discovering water in your basement later⁠⁠⁠

Jason surprised me with a touristy date night in Park City, and it was such a good reminder to play tourist in your own backyard every once in a while.

We rode the alpine slide, which was bumpy, nostalgic, and perfect. We both reminisced about riding it back in the day when the rules were a little more fast and loose.

Neither of us had ever been on the mountain coaster, and it was surprisingly fast and so much fun.

It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day and forget how many fun things there are to do so close to home. Sometimes you just need a touristy date night to remember how lucky we are to have all of this in our backyard.
