Having a home office space you’re happy in is crucial now. With millions of people working from home, there comes a time when you’ll need to make the office space a place where you won’t mind spending hours in every day.

Fact check: it doesn’t have to be extravagant or pricey to be perfect for you. Here’s a few design tips to keep in mind for the home office:

- set up shop looking over your favorite view: no matter where it is, choose a place in the house with plenty of natural light and that keeps you connected with the outside world
- You need a desk, but it can be oh so simple. An entry table easily converts into a desk or move another table you desk you have from somewhere else in the house into the new office
- Place accessories and necessities nearby: lip balm, wireless earbuds, tissues and an emergency stash of almonds or dark chocolate (my fav)
- Add some greenery. My favorites? Snake plants, aloe Vera and vining plants
- Consider a white noise machine or chill playlists to drown out household happenings
- Top off your space with some framed prints, a funky rug or a comfy office chair

There are lots of perks to working from home - the no commute, the lunch “meetings” with friends or loved ones, and your soon to be practical and perfect home office ✨
