Our Resort is clean, rich in nature, with big small town charm. We also have lots of amenities too, like bingo, poker, yoga, and more in our clubhouse.

There are pools over looking the lake, or enjoy the tennis courts, shuffle board, playground, horseshoes, corn hole, and game room. Sometimes food trucks visit, or go to the convenience market, Subway, or restaurants with the Dollar General right next door.

Whether its swimming, snorkeling, fishing, boating, kayaking, hiking, wildlife spotting, photography, or riding your quads, dirt bikes, and jeeps on the miles of trails, you're bound gain great memories at Turtle Cove Cottage.

Nestled in a gated community within the Ocala National Forest, Turtle Cove Cottage is conveniently located on Little Lake Kerr, just 30 minutes from Ocala. The resort offers a variety of activities year-round, including two pools, pickle ball courts, beach area, large park, boat ramp, pavilion, and lodge. Additionally, guests can explore nearby springs and forest activities.

Yeah, golf cart rentals are now available for those that want to run around the resort for fun. It's $50 a day or $300 a week. So make some belgium waffles then cruise up to the Dollar General to find floaty toys for the pool.

The first month of having our short term rental open has been great. It's amazing how so many guests are tidy and respectful of the home, which is a prefect home away from home, located in the Salt Springs Resort.

The Resort indoor amenities include a Gaming room with Pool tables, Foosball, Ping pong, Air hockey, A Waterfront Lodge with a Library of Books and Movies, and Community Potlucks, Church, Games, Bingo, Music Gatherings, and Yoga.

Outside at the resort has Hot Tub/Spa, Two large pools (one heated), Kiddie pool, BBQ area on the lake, Pickleball, Co****le, Horseshoes, Shuffle board, Volleyball, Playground, Picnic Pavilion, Dog Beach, Small and large dog fenced parks, Fishing dock, Boat ramp, and Boat parking.

Then there is lots to do outside of the resort for nature inclined vacationers. Turtle Cove Cottage is located in the Ocala National Forest, which encompasses approx. 383,000 acres, or 650+ square miles. It has over 100 miles of hiking trails. People also come to hunt in season for turkeys, hogs, and deer.

The Salt Springs Recreation Area has ancient subterranean springs which flow year-round at a constant temperature of 72 degrees.
Other local spring favorites are at Silver Glen, Juniper, and Alexander Springs.

Fantastic place to stay!! Super clean and comfortable. My new favorite place. We were super impressed with the cool sea turtle decor. Decided to get an Air B&B so we could visit the nearby Springs ( Silver Glen & Alexandria Springs) to paddle board and snorkel for a couple days. After a long day at the Springs it was nice to only have to drive about 10 minutes to the air B&B and relax. Such a great feel to be in a nice place, and surrounded by soft smell of camp fires in the evening, sat out on the deck in the evening, felt like heaven. I am really hoping we can get this exact same place next time around, absolutely loved it!

Teresa was an excellent host. Super friendly, welcoming, and a great communicator. The space was beautiful, clean and spacious. Location was fantastic. Lots to do. We will definitely be back!! Highly recommend!!!

This place was amazing. Super clean, fully stocked kitchen with appliances, utensils, full size side by side refrigerator. The shower and bathroom was great and squeaky clean. Will reserve again for sure.
