Decided to virtually stage a vacant house.
Photos were phenomenal.
But when I went back to the house, all the rooms were empty again.

If you are reading this before the end of the day (5/15/26) you can still file a property tax protest in Texas. You can fill out the form online and send it in with any attachments. Or print it out and make sure it is in the postoffice well before midnight.
- My suggestion is to select the option to speak to one of their representatives first, before going before the board. Less stress and sometimes it can be worked out one-on-one. Here's a link to the Tom Green County Appraisal District:

I'm enjoying being part of the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce Concho Cadre, the ambassadors for the Chamber. And, as one of the volunteers for the Railway Museum of San Angelo, I was doubly happy, as Train Days was a big success. Still time for history and theater buffs to enjoy the performances of On the Right Track, an interactive play written by Linda Thorsen Bond about the Fred Harvey and the Harvey Girls. Once again, San Angelo entertainment entrepreneurs are looking to offer more and more to the public.

Here’s what we know about what’s going on at Stadium Lanes Bowling Center - For the first time in its 62 year history, the entertainment center has opened a brand new bar, and as of this last week, the bar has expanded beyond its 20 beers on tap and large array of bottled beers to a full-service bar including well-drinks and various spirits. They also have a new lounge to accompany the bar. We also know they are accepting applications for experienced bar tenders (apply at https://www.stadiumlanes.com/apply). Just this last week, Stadium Lanes switched out the concourse lighting to new LED RGBW panel lights that shift from white to color for various events. New settee couches are a nice addition, as well. New fans will be installed in the near future.

Some may think the original lanes are behind those curtains left of the new lane 1, but that’s not what’s happening. Expect a new gaming area with regulation pool tables, darts, virtual golf, new restrooms and something not seen in San Angelo, a Karaoke room- as in, bring your friends, close the door in a soundproof room and sing to only the people you know. Not everyone cares to sing to the entire crowd and often, the entire crowd doesn’t care to listen. Great! They solved that problem. For music on premise, the program is custom to Stadium Lanes, produced by the same people that brought the nation Sonic Live Radio at Sonic Drive-ins and Rock 300 to 700 bowling centers, so the music mix is very well done.

Overall, it is evident Stadium Lanes is creating a place that is way more than for bowling- a social experience that patrons will be able to spend the entire evening with a variety of things to do while socializing and having fun. Good for Stadium Lanes, great for you and your friends. For those that have been there lately, you know what we are talking about.

The new gaming area is targeted to open around June. Next door where the old lanes 1-6 originally were, Wandering Minds Brewery is set to open at about the same time.
