Camo file cabnet coming along nicely! The pattern is made with the "soap" method...I'll post a link to a couple of videos on how to make a pattern with soap when it's finished.

🦟 Ode to the Mosquito… 🦟

San Angelo got rain 🌧️ Temps went up ☀️
Mosquitoes said, “It’s go time!” 😈
They don’t date. They swarm as one. 🌀
They hook up fast. They get it done. 💥

The baby boom is on in your backyard! 🍼🌱

You swing at air, miss the mark. 👋💨
You look squirrley slapping in the dark. 🐿️🌙
They don’t care. They feast on skin. 🩸🍽️
You flee inside. They still win. 🏃‍♂️🚪

This is your warning. ⚠️
They bite all night…and into the morning. 🌙➡️🌅

BUT SERIOUSLY, there's a quick way to crush them before they make backyard life miserable.

Grab a wide mouth container (bucket, large jar, etc) fill with water and add Altosid or Mosquito Dunks. Both kill the mosquito larva before they can hatch turning the Baby Boom into a Baby Bust!

Altosid can be bought on line or you can get the dunks at Lowe’s or Home Depot.

BOOM!!!

Why do people buy land?
Some folks will say “investment.”
Some will say “privacy.”
Some will say “recreation.”
But let’s be honest…
Deep down, a whole bunch of us are buying land because when the zombie apocalypse kicks off, we do not want to be stuck in a subdivision arguing with an HOA about whether a perimeter fence “fits community standards.”
Land means options.
Room for a garden.
Room for a shop.
Room for a few animals.
Room to put some distance between you and whatever chaos is happening in town.
And even if the zombies never show up, the truth is still the same: people want space, freedom, privacy, and the ability to build a life on their own terms.
So no… buying land is not crazy.
It is just the most polite way possible to say,
“If the world gets weird, I would like to be left alone.”

Good morning all! I hope you had an incredible weekend!!!

I sure did…had the honor of helping coordinate the 3rd annual Run and Gun biathlon at the 4N Game Ranch in Knickerbocker, TX. My good friend Derrick Garnett, owner, and broker of G5 Realty, led the charge as match director and host, it was outstanding as usual.
One of the many rewarding aspects of owning ranch land is the ability to use it to benefit others. A place like this can bring people together, build family/community, sharpen skills, and create the kind of experiences people remember for a long time.
That is value you cannot always measure on paper. Farm & Ranch land has the potential to do more than hold worth — it can create it for you, your family and community.

HEY YO!!: trade school may be the way to go!
This time of year, seniors keep hearing:
“So what are you going to do next?”…not sure about you, but, I hated this question.
Here’s a thought young blood: don’t let college be the go to answer.
If the job you want requires a degree, cool, better get in school!
But for tons of folks, trade school gets it done with—less debt, less wasted time, and a faster path to real skills and real income.
College is one path.
It’s not the only good one…keep your options open and good luck!
