I was told that people want to see the Christmas ornament I painted for the Texas State Capitol better so here it is ! Upon Clarisa Darby ‘s suggestion , I paid homage to Goodfellow AFB - 17th Training Wing that has been an important part of District 72’s economy since 1940. Thank you Drew Darby for Texas for commissioning me to paint this and thank you Janet Ridgway for tying the beautiful bow!

Today is an important day in American history. Go vote ! I’m pictured here with our state representative, Drew Darby for Texas. I had the honor of painting the Christmas ornament for the 2024 State Capitol Christmas Tree for him . He and his wife,Clarisa Darby, have served district 72 well!

Join us for a Black Tie Cowboy Event Tuesday, May 7th (day of giving) from 5 to 7 brought to you by Art in Uncommon Places. Chadbourne sports new murals on the buildings and new sculptures in preparation for the event. Chadbourne will be closed down from 5 to 7 for the event filled with music, entertainment, and art. I’ll be painting en plein air and would love suggestions on what I should paint.
