High Order Inspection Services, LLC After 22 years as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician Brandon is transitioning to the next chapter of his life as a Texas Professional Home Inspector.

"From disarming bombs to disarming your home buying fears" Hello! I’m Brandon Pfannenstiel, a proud Texas Native and now a Texas Professional Home Inspector with a unique background. For 22 years, I served as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician, a career that sharpened my attention to detail, precision, and thoroughness. Now, I’ve transferred those skills to the field of home inspectio

n, where I take the same care and meticulous approach to ensure the homes I inspect are safe and sound for their future owners. As an EOD technician, I was tasked with identifying, analyzing, and neutralizing potential threats—often in high-pressure environments. This role required extreme attention to detail, quick thinking, and an ability to anticipate and identify risks. These traits have carried over seamlessly into my home inspection business. How My EOD Experience Benefits You! Attention to Detail:
Just as in EOD, every small detail matters when inspecting a home. Whether it's a crack in the foundation or a potential issue with the electrical system, I leave no stone unturned. My ability to spot the tiniest of inconsistencies allows me to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of a property's condition. Thoroughness:
In my previous work, a thorough analysis of every situation was vital to safety. I approach every home inspection with the same level of diligence, ensuring that every component of the home—structure, systems, and appliances—are thoroughly assessed. Uncovering Potential Deficiencies:
Like disarming a threat, I am trained to identify hidden deficiencies that could become problems down the line. By using a careful, systematic approach, I can uncover issues that may not be immediately apparent to the untrained eye. Why Choose Me? Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions of your life, and it’s crucial to ensure you’re making an informed choice. With my unique skill set and dedication to thorough inspections, you can trust me to provide you with a clear, detailed, and accurate assessment of any home you’re considering. Let’s make sure your future home is as safe and secure as possible.

Happy Friday!! I would be lying if I said I don't miss some of the military life. The purpose, the being apart of something bigger than me, and of course my EOD brothers are just some of the things I miss. Oh and I can't forget, I definitely miss getting to blow sh*t up!!! But I have found a new purpose, I am still finding ways to do things and be apart of things bigger than me, and I have found new groups to be apart of; San Angelo Association of REALTORS and My Inspector Community. Hope everyone has a great Friday and weekend!!

🚨 **Hidden Danger in Your Home: Inadequate Combustion Air** 🚨

Gas appliances like furnaces, water heaters, and fireplaces need proper airflow to burn fuel safely. When there isn’t enough combustion air, serious problems can occur:

❌ **Incomplete combustion** – This can produce dangerous carbon monoxide (CO), a colorless, odorless gas that can be deadly.
❌ **Backdrafting** – Exhaust gases may not vent properly and can spill back into your home.
❌ **Reduced efficiency & equipment damage** – Appliances have to work harder and may wear out faster.

🏠 Modern homes are built tighter than ever, which means less natural airflow. Without proper ventilation or combustion air sources, your appliances may not operate safely.

💡 **What can you do?**
✔ Have your gas appliances inspected regularly
✔ Ensure proper ventilation and combustion air openings
✔ Install and maintain carbon monoxide detectors

At the end of the day, it’s simple: **your safety depends on proper airflow.**

I saw a couple of quotes the other day that I truly believe.
“If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.”
“Do what you love, and work feels like purpose—not a job.”
Hope everyone has a great Monday!!!

Cast iron plumbing was commonly installed in homes from the early 1900s up through the 1970s—and while it was built to last, time is catching up with it. ⏳

Over the years, cast iron pipes can corrode from the inside out, leading to cracks, blockages, leaks, and even complete pipe failure. The problem? Most of this damage happens where you can’t see it. 👀

That’s why regular inspections are so important. A professional inspection can identify early signs of deterioration before they turn into costly repairs or major plumbing backups. 💧

If your home was built before the 1980s and still has original plumbing, it may be time to take a closer look. Protect your home, your investment, and your peace of mind.
