A friend and former colleague commented on my LinkedIn background image and it reminded me of a time when downtown San Antonio had so much hope, optimism and promise. With all the great development happening downtown and the surrounding areas, kicking off, and the back in the playoffs, I feel the energy and promise again! I’m excited about our city today, and what lies ahead. This is the photo I took at Essex Modern circa 2017. This part of the east side is so cool, and back then, this place hosted great gatherings that highlighted the local community and businesses. Our daughters were so little when we used to attend these events. They are teenagers now, and we are all still huge believers in downtown SA and the east side. 🏀
