A year ago I would have had a hard time believing you if you told me I would be praying over strangers and sharing the good news of Jesus.
But here I am.
And I am so grateful.
I had the privilege of going out into the streets of San Antonio praying over people and sharing what God has done in my life. And the feeling was unmatched. Truly one of the most fulfilling experiences I have ever had.
Not the feeling of closing a deal. Not hitting a goal. Something so much deeper. Something that only comes from walking in the exact purpose God placed inside of you. When you shift from working for yourself to working for God everything changes.
Your perspective changes.
The way you see people changes.
Life takes on a meaning that no career no achievement and no amount of success could ever give you.
A true mission. A real purpose.
And that is exactly what this was for me.
This is what reflects the immense power of Jesus Christ to change hearts and renew minds.
He doesn’t just forgive you.
He transforms you completely. He gives you a new identity.
A new way of seeing yourself and the world around you. And new identities are available to anyone who calls on His name and chooses to live for Him.
It is as clear to me as night and day now. We are not just called to be saved and keep it to ourselves at home. We are called to share it. To show it. To let the goodness of His character and His Spirit living inside of us pour out into the lives of everyone around us. Salvation is not just for us. It is to be shared.
That is the mission. That is His character in us. And I am just getting started.
To God be all the glory. Always.
