Nice subterranean termite find in a dilapidated home in San Antonio. This type of stuff I would hope just about any inspector would catch, but I still can't resist filming a live termiteinfestation just to show how these little guys operate and get into your home to cause trouble.

Wires come in various sizes ("gauge") and large sized wires (smaller gauges) can carry a larger amount of current. The circuit breaker needs to be sized to the wire or more electricity than the wire can handle might be transfered through the wire, creating heat and potentially fire. The 10-gauge wire found here is only rated for 30-amps, but the wires are inserted into a 60-amp breaker (for an exterior condenser). Too much energy flowed through the small wires, and scorching them.
