BUDGET - Remember to think about closing costs, property, taxes, HOA fees, and maintenance [lawn care] to avoid financial strain in the future.

Mortgage Pre-Approval - DO NOT SKIP! This allows buyers to know you are highly motivated and you tell you what you can work with.

Mistake 3
Credit Score - as much as I hate to say it your credit score is what play a significant role in your approval and interest rate. You want to make sure any errors are removed before your pre-approval.

Mistake 4
Home Inspection - Don't judge a home by what you can see! Remember there are hidden "gems" within the walls and structure of your home. Make sure you get a Home Inspection, even NEW BUILDS need a home inspection!
