FYI - I rescued a song bird with a broken wing that I found in my neighborhood. After calling multiple vets, none would take in wild animals. I ended up taking it to the Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center. The Center is about an hour outside of San Antonio. It is quite a commitment, I’m not gonna lie. But If you feel the need or are in a situation where you need someplace to go. They will take wild animals, have a surgical staff and you can just drop off. Thought I would share.
