Caleb Custom Homes was started in 1993 by two high school best friends—Jay Stewart and Tom Culp. They spent much of the nineties building homes in North Central San Antonio. In the year 2000, they expanded into commercial construction and development. Since then, they have completed two developments in Port Aransas, Texas along with hundreds of remodels and new constructions. La Joya, their first development, was the first waterfront, gated community to offer a boat slip with every lot in Port Aransas.

Caleb Custom Homes' love for the Port Aransas community is what allowed them to become, and continue to be, one of the most prominent builders on the island.
