Our San Antonio Missions National Historical Park is made of 5 missions, the most widely known is Mission San Antonio de Valero, or The Alamo, as most of us refer to it. The other 4 are Mission Concepción, Mission San Juan Capistrano, Mission San José and Mission San Francisco de la Espada. And it is noteworthy that this is the only UNESCO world heritage site in the great state of Texas.
If you haven't explored these different sites, you might consider doing that one day. There are biking trails, historic landmarks and of course the river to see.
My family likes to start at the mission in the video, that's Mission San Juan Capistrano. You can rent electric bikes, take your own, walk or run on the trails. We love to bike ride, so we start here and take the trails north all the way downtown. We stop off for drinks at the Blue Star Complex and make our way back home.
It's just one of those gems in San Antonio that can be missed if you only know about The Alamo and the Riverwalk. If you're exploring San Antonio, check it out!
And if you're thinking about buying or selling a home, let's chat!
I'm Danni, and I help people, like you, buy and sell real estate in and around San Antonio.
