Kennedy’s Tavern is officially opening St. Patrick’s weekend, with doors set to open March 13 at 308 E. San Antonio St. And this isn’t just another bar opening. It’s a full restoration of the historic Voigt House, an 1870 Mansard-roofed landmark with deep roots tied to early cultural leader Hermann Seele.

Owner Kyle Kennedy took his time bringing this Texas Historic Landmark back to life, and it shows.

Here’s what to expect:
• 25 beers on tap
• A strong lineup of whiskies
• Original recipe Irish coffee
• Hearty Irish fare and classic pub favorites

Inside, you’ll find the Emerald Room, a 25-seat speakeasy with a hidden entrance. Outside, live music, fire pits, and the shaded Tree Bar set the tone.
