There’s a bigger picture here that most people are missing.

Everyone is focused on the Remax acquisition, but what stands out more is what Real did before that.

They moved into mortgage.
They added title.
They brought in AI-powered home search tools.

If you’re considering a new construction home, there are three things you should focus on.

Getting the best price.
Getting the best incentives.
And making sure the builder is held accountable through the process.

One of the biggest mistakes buyers make is walking into a sales office without representation.

Some of the fastest growing areas around San Antonio are full of new construction.

Retail is coming in, schools are being built, and roads are expanding. On the surface, everything looks great.

But there’s one thing many buyers don’t find out until it’s too late.

MUD tax.

Even if you have a VA disability exemption or qualify for over 65, this is NOT something you’re exempt from. It’s a separate tax that can add a noticeable amount to your annual costs.

On a $600,000 home, that could be around $1,500 per year depending on the area.

Not every community has it, but many newer developments do.

Always ask before you commit.
