Development Manager, Jenna Stoeltje, is officially a member of the 2026–2027 RECSA Leadership Development Program class! Through the program, Jenna will enhance her leadership skills, industry knowledge, and connections with fellow real estate professionals across San Antonio.

EMBREY’s partnership with RECSA dates back to the organization’s early years, when Walter M. Embrey, Jr. was among its founding members and later became president. Over the years, EMBREY has continued its long-standing support of RECSA in many ways, including participation in its Leadership Development Program, with more than 10 team members completing the program to date.

Casey Klein has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Development at EMBREY.

In this role, Casey leads EMBREY’s development efforts across Austin, Denver, and Phoenix, overseeing all phases of the development process, including site acquisition, due diligence, entitlements, and design.

During his nearly five years with EMBREY, Casey has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership, dedication, and expertise. His deep understanding of the development process and the markets he serves has been instrumental to EMBREY’s success.

We’re adding another community to EMBREY’s Colorado portfolio!

EMBREY has closed on the acquisition for Clio at Rock Creek, a new Class-A multifamily development in Lafayette, marking EMBREY’s 22nd project in the Denver market.

The 324-unit, three-story garden community will span more than 18 acres, with groundbreaking anticipated in Q3 2026 and first residents expected in Q3 2027. Amenities include micro-offices, a fitness studio with a yoga room, a game room with a billiards table, resort-style pool and hot tub, in addition to a dog park and pets spa with grooming station.

Located along the U.S. 36 employment corridor between Denver and Boulder, Clio at Rock Creek is positioned near several major employment drivers, including Medtronic’s second-largest U.S. campus, Intermountain Health’s Good Samaritan Hospital, and the Colorado Tech Center.

This latest project builds on EMBREY’s more than 25-year history in Colorado, where we have delivered more than 7,500 apartment homes in the state and have nearly 2,000 additional homes in the current pipeline. Amegy Bank and Hancock Whitney Bank provided financing for the project.

Our 2026 Summer Internship Program may have wrapped, but not before a little friendly competition!

One of the final intern events was Buddy’s Best Bite Food Challenge, named after our very own Chief Barking Officer, Buddy. Interns teamed up and put their culinary skills to the test in a guacamole-making challenge. Each team created their own recipe before presenting the final product to our judges for the ultimate taste test.

The Terminators took first place, with Guac and Roll coming in at a very close second, and Paws-omnness rounding out the competition in third.

Buddy’s Best Bite gave our interns another opportunity to connect, collaborate, and have some fun as their summer with came to a close. Check out the recap!

Congratulations to all three teams for bringing the creativity and a special thanks to our judges.

A strong safety culture is built through awareness, accountability, and a commitment to keeping one another safe. For OSHA’s Safe + Sound Week, we partnered with SFI Safety to conduct on-site trainings at eight of our active jobsites across Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

The trainings focused on practical ways to recognize, address, and prevent hazards. Topics included fall prevention, heat stress, PPE requirements, controlled access zones, equipment operation, and management and leadership practices.

By continuing to provide safety education and encouraging open communication, we empower our field teams to recognize hazards and take action.

Special thanks to our Construction Senior Project Managers Andrew Wehlander and Rich Brinkmann for coordinating this year’s trainings, and to our partners at SFI Safety for delivering these sessions across our jobsites.
