The proposed revitalization plan for the 28.5 acre site calls for demolition of the 242 Public Housing units and its re-construction in three phases. The proposed redevelopment will transform the site that formerly housed only very low-income families into a new, vibrant, mixed-income, mixed-use community. Phase I & II of the project will consist of residential units while Phase III is being reserved for a commercial component. Additionally, the property will feature a new clubhouse for all residents complete with a business center, fitness center, laundry facility, swimming pool and resident services. The site will also include limited access gates with on site courtesy patrols.
