Congratulations to Richard Whalen! He purchased a brand new Centex Pulte home today, and it was my privilege to be his agent! May you enjoy many happy and healthy years in your comfy new home, Richard.

The proper etiquette when flying flag at half staff:

1. Raise the flag all the way to the top first.
2. Then lower it to a position about one flag-height down from the top of the pole.

So the flag itself usually sits well above the midpoint of the pole. The key idea is leaving a visible space above the flag as a sign of respect and mourning.

On Memorial Day in the United States, the flag is traditionally:

* flown at half-staff from sunrise until noon
* then raised to full-staff until sunset

Thank you to all that gave the ultimate sacrifice. 💔🇺🇸

What do you think of this idea?

A 6 to 12-inch stone and gravel edge adds a sophisticated boundary between the yard and the driveway, helping with encroaching grass and drainage.
