Poem Night after Mix & Mingle - Twilight Bonds of Our Friendships

We walk along this gentle slope,
with Memories of youth and hope.
Our hair has silvered, our hands ear worn,
From seasons lived and burdens borne.

We laugh through games of cards and tiles,
We play with bags (co****le) and sticks (pool) and balls (Bocce Ball)
And share each meal with warm, happy smiles.
Yet in our eyes, we can dimly see
The many friends who walked through life with me.

Our remaining hours, though small in count,
Hold precious truth in full amount.
In our hands, our hands hold tight,
A quiet love, a guiding light.

What a great turnout tonight for the Coed Co****le Tournament with 6 men+women teams playing for the illustrious trophies.

We had new players Lew & Rose V.
and everyone cheered for each other.

In the finals were Team Pete/Kathy vs. Team Ed/Ruth. Although Ed & Ruth won the first game, the second decisive game was won by Pete & Kathy with less losses.

Congratulations Pete & Kathy!! 🏆🏆

PS. Kathy has a two in a row streak going in Coed. Thx everyone!

Saturday was a perfect day except for the temperature being 103 degrees!! Texas weather at its finest - or shall I say “hottest”!! But that didn’t stop us from strolling the streets of Boerne.

Our Boerne Day Trip was fabulous. Quaint boutiques, Bechants Department Store was to die for - upscale for sure - we all walked around with our “pinky’s up”, and the Market Day was full of unique and tasty mercantile.

Oh, So many Laughs and making Great Memories!!

We are a gathering of fun, loving, singing Friends who have become Family!!

Karaoke Night - Once a month we get silly and share stories and become nostalgic!!

Just like w**e (lots of it) we get better with time!!
