This is westbound SH 151 at Ingram Road in San Antonio in 2001 and a view from Google Maps in 2025. As discussed in a previous post, SH 151 was built in phases, with the frontage roads opening first in 1987 and '88. The freeway mainlanes here -- over Ingram and Potranco Roads -- were the first to be completed, opening in 1997. The remainder of the freeway outside Loop 410 opened in 2004. The construction to widen the freeway visible in the 2025 photo began in 2023 and is now substantially complete.
