Roberto Garza, Realtor As a professor, I helped people with their educational goals. As a Realtor, I educate people in the I was born and raised in Kingsville, Texas. Naval Reserve.

While in high school and my first year of college, I served in the U.S. I also served for four years in the U.S. Air Force. I was stationed at Wheelus AFB, Tripoli, Libya and at Beale AFB, Yuba City-Marysville, California. I then returned to Texas A&I University and received my B.A. in geography and geology in 1969. I went on to work on my masters degree at Indiana State University in Terre Haute,

Indiana. From there I proceeded to the University of Oklahoma, in Norman, Ok, where I began work on a Ph.D. While at the U. of Oklahoma, I was offered a teaching job at San Antonio College. After three years at San Antonio College, I took a one-year leave of absence to continue my studies at the University of Colorado. I received my Ph.D. in geography and geology. I taught at San Antonio College for twenty-eight years and part-time at the University of Texas-San Antonio. I also worked in administration as a dean. After retiring from San Antonio College in 1999, I took a teaching position at Grand Rapids Community College. In January, 2000, I became the founding executive director of the Houston STEM program at the University of Houston. This program consisted of a consortium of several universities. In 2002, I took a geology teaching position at the University of Houston-Downtown. Retiring for the second time in 2008, I returned to San Antonio. After retirement I was certified as an international tour manager and tour guide. I worked as a tour manager and lecturer for a senior citizens travel company aboard Holland American ships in the Caribbean and the southern cone of South America and Antarctica.
