What are your thoughts on purchasing a condo for college students to live in while attending school, instead of paying high dorm fees with no return?

As parents of 4 college aged daughters, we have experienced just how costly dorm expenses can be. Real Estate is one of the best investments one can make, so this makes a lot of sense.
