New builds are wild out here!! Just watched this guy drag new carpet down the street to another house.

The video is after he got down the street...he then backed over it and then pulled further up the street!

For the people in the back of the room...NEW BUILD HOME INSPECTIONS BEFORE CLOSING IS A NECESSARY THING!!!!

3 inspections today all new builds all with their own unique set of problems.

1st house-damage trim, fascia, caulking issues, minor electrical issues

2nd house- The roof was messed up, appears to be because of a manufacturer defect in the shingles because every roof on the street had the same issues, along with windows not working and various other things.

3rd house- Can you guess what missing from this bedroom???? 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Something i get asked often after teaching a class to Realtors.

"Hey Russell, should we have the drain lines of new construction homes inspected?"

My answer is ALWAYS yes.

Today my client ordered a sewer scope from us and thankfully he did, rocks, concrete and other debris was found in the drain lines. This could have caused issues in the future!!!

I HIGHLY recommend getting a sewer Scope on almost any home, there isn't a scenario where you shouldn't.
