Prickly pear is getting ready for quite the show. Don't know if it's because of the drought or a prediction the drought is ending. Also looking good for croton or doveweed, a mainstay for quail and dove.

Very much enjoyed speaking to the Monday Lunch crowd at Aggie Park. Covered 50 years as a quail "expert". What worked and what didn't; sprinklers, feeders, burning, herbicides, etc. everything I've tried over the years to improve habitat for Bobs with several humorous side stories.

What a blessing the rain was! Give Mother Nature a week or so, and it will be a great time to look at ranches. ready to buy?
