Real Estate Tip of the Day!
Believe it or not, it's very common that homeowners listing their homes cringe when they think about all of the issues they're going to share in the disclosure. More times than not is because the seller feels that their chances of selling it are lower, or that they'll lose money due to it. Truth is, the more you disclose and are honest about, the better the outcome when the buyers inspection comes back revealing most, if not all of those things that people want to hide. It's tough to make a buyer feel confident in the home if they feel that the seller wasn't being truthful in the disclosure and end up with more repairs than they anticipated.
Making sure that you're honest with your realtor and build that trust is important because your realtor is the face that represents you. If your realtor feels confident in you as a client, then they can better represent you through the entire process and ensure it goes as smooth as possible.
