My girls, hugging it out as Malea headed back up to UT. Such a great summer. But it’s back to work — Malea is taking on an internship, a nanny job and 15 hours of classes. Layla just got back from studying in Italy and graduates in December. She’s fielding weekly interviews for engineering jobs in Austin. There are a lot of aspects of motherhood that mean so much — first steps, loves and fears… but nothing is more incredible than watching these two women grow up together. Through it all…scoliosis and cancer and life. So strong and determined. My pride and joy. ❤️
