As we get into full swing of the fall, November is here and that means another "No shave Novemeber." There are often a lot of questions about what this means.

99 cent razor has great page has more details about the month but the idea is that you don't shave and donate and show awareness for cancer. It's a great cause and has helped many organziations raise funds. While some men may neglect the razor for the month it's an awesome opportunity to look at how the bathrooms in your home could use the attention.
The bathroom when remodeled can add value and breath life into a master suite that is dated. As men have more free time this month from not shaving these projects are a way to invest in the value of a home. Here are some ideas.

The summer can be a tough time when it comes to keeping the grass green. We all want to run the sprinklers all the time. Making sure that we do so in a conservative way helps the community with water conservation. San Antonio Water Systems has some friendly reminders and helpful information to insure that we are all doing our part to help.

Stage 2 restrictions begin when the 10-day rolling average of the Edwards Aquifer level reaches 650 feet mean sea level at the monitored well. Coming out of drought stages can be considered 15 days after the aquifer is above the trigger.

Beat the heat with a fun outdoor activity in Brackenridge Park. The park is home to the Japanese Tea Garden. The park and garden are located near the heart of San Antonio. The 11-acre garden was originally the property of Pearl Brewery widow Mrs. Emma Koehler. Mrs. Emma Koehler donated the land to San Antonio in 1915 for a city park. This posed a small issue for the San Antonio's park coordinator due to the location by the closed quarry and San Antonio river. Eventually the idea of a lily pond was approved and this pond became the Japanese Tea Garden. Since its opening the park has been a fun destination for people of all ages.
The area around Brackenridge Park is full of great homes and schools as well. Two of San Antonio's secondary schools are located not far from the park as well. San Antonio College and The Universtiy of the Incarnate Word.
