This truly can be a CRAZY business at times. This one ranked right up there with some of my best stories! I will admit. There were a couple of moments when I lost hope in this deal 🤷

But then God! In the beginning we stood hand in hand in the driveway and prayed for God's blessing over this house and the families involved. The Holy Spirit goosebumps were felt in that moment and then I forgot 🤦

Maybe it was all the crazy struggles I've recently been through or maybe it was just my human nature losing hope and forgetting who God is and what He can do! As usual God showed up and showed off even when I lost hope.

In this crazy world it is so important that we never lose hope in the Creator of ALL things. If we love Him, He is always working for our good even when, especially when we lose hope!

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Often times in life things don't happen the way we expect or in ways we want. At the end of it all we come to realize we are not in control, God is. Our job is to be faithful in prayer, patient in waiting and trust that God's way is always better than our way even if we don't understand it.

God says our thoughts are not His thoughts and our ways are not His ways. He says in ALL things He will work for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
You might be asking yourself, "what does that have to do with buying or selling a house?" Everything! We know that life is all about relationships. Our relationship with God the Father, His son Jesus and our relationships with all those around us. All those living next to us (neighbors) and in our neighborhoods.

He cares about how you can pour His love into your neighbors or they can pour His love into you at just the right time. God cares about where you live on Earth and for eternity! 💜✝️

When things don't go the way you expect, ask God to help you get aligned with His plan instead of yours. You will be much better off in the end. I promise! That's enough preaching for tonight 😉

The Lord blessed us with a serious buyer in just 26 days! On that first day I stood in the driveway hand in hand with the family and prayed a blessing over the family, the house and the family that would next call this home.

I must be honest and say that I doubted whether this was the deal that God wanted. But then God! It's so easy to get discouraged in this broken world and in this crazy business of real estate!

In my moment of doubt I remembered the Holy Spirit goosebumps I felt when we stood in the driveway and prayed. For me, that is always a sign from God. So I changed my focus back to prayer and within hours we had agreed to terms for an executed contract. ONLY God can make some things happen. Even in real estate!

Really? Maybe for some people but without God you soon discover that your dreams are a temporary empty shell of discontent.

God is the Creator of all things and the source of all the good in our lives. He provides, protects and guides us if we let Him. In James chapter 4 God tells us 'You desire but do not have...You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives...'

I don't question my buyer's motives because they are honorable and centered on love and family! Evidently God feels the same way because He blessed them with a dream come true. It's a dream filled with love and that's what God is all about.
