Buying a home in San Antonio? Before you fall in love with the kitchen, the backyard, or the finishes, make sure you’re paying attention to the things that matter long after move-in. 🏡

A few buyer reminders I always share:

✔️ Get pre-approved before you start seriously shopping so you know what makes sense for your budget.

✔️ Don’t let pretty finishes distract you from the bigger picture. Paint, fixtures, and flooring can change. Location, layout, lot size, and neighborhood usually can’t.

✔️ Think beyond the purchase price. Your monthly payment, taxes, insurance, HOA, maintenance, and closing costs all matter too.

✔️ Don’t skip the inspection just because a home looks great. You want to know what you’re buying before you get to the closing table.

✔️ Ask questions. A good Realtor should help you understand the process, not make you feel like you’re supposed to already know everything.
