Here’s what I learned from buying my first home 🏡👇

📉 Zillow doesn’t show the full picture
Photos and price estimates can be misleading — there’s no substitute for actually walking the property (and working with a local expert 😉).

💸 A mortgage comes with more layers than you think
It’s not just your monthly payment. You’ve also got taxes, insurance, and maintenance — plan ahead!

📏 Don’t get caught up in square footage
Layout and functionality often matter way more than just the number.

🔍 Don’t skip the inspection — ever
Even newer homes can hide issues. The inspection can save you thousands (and headaches) down the line.

🏚️ No such thing as a perfect house
Every home has quirks. Focus on what matters most to you, and don’t let small flaws stop you.
