🏡 San Antonio market update — August numbers are in!

The headline: more homes changed hands (3,104 sales, up 4% from last August) while prices held steady — median at $299,275. Homes are taking a bit longer to sell (82 days on average) and we've got nearly 6 months of inventory on the shelves. Translation: buyers finally have some breathing room and real negotiating power. Sellers, sharp pricing and great presentation are winning the day — well-priced homes are still fetching 92.8% of asking.

One thing to keep in mind: mortgage rates are sitting around 7%, a 13-month high, and the Fed meets this week. Waiting on the sidelines could end up costing more than jumping in.
