AAPHD UT Health San Antonio The AAPHD UT Health San Antonio Student chapter will promote the public health community within the The purpose of the organization shall be:
1.

To promote the advancement of public health in the field of dentistry
2. To link with the dental public health community in San Antonio and South Texas to advance oral health
3. To promote scholarship through community service and volunteerism
4. To operate as the student arm of the national organization of AAPHD
5. To experience various facets of public health dentistry including: advocacy, careers, community outreach, global health, and research

It’s almost the end of year (yay!!!!) which means officer elections are coming up! If you’re interested in being more active in AAPHD now is your chance!
The positions are: President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer, Historian and Service Coordinator.

UTHSCSA AAPHD presents Dr. Bryan Bayles, PhD, MPH. Dr. Bayles is the Curator of Anthropology and Health at the WItte museum, where he cuates the Witte's pioneering new H-E-B Body adventure permanent exhibition.

Pizza will be provided for all attendees.

The Lunch and Learn will be held in the dental school 4th floor lecture hall.
