Maid of Honor duties complete… and my heart is SO full. 🤍🥂
What an honor it was to stand beside Veronica on one of the most beautiful days of her life.
Watching someone you love marry their person is such a special thing, and I’m so grateful I got to be part of this day.
Here’s a little piece of my heart from my speech:
Good evening, everyone. For those who don’t know me, I’m Ana, and I’m so honored to be Veronica’s Maid of Honor.
Before I start, I just want to say a quick prayer.
Lord, thank You for bringing us all together to celebrate Veronica and David. Please bless their marriage, keep You at the center of it, and give them patience during the hard days, lots of laughter during the good ones, and a lifetime full of love, peace, and happiness.
Amen.
Veronica and I have known each other for years, and we’ve been through so many different seasons of life together. We’ve laughed, cried, grown, and probably have way too many stories that are definitely not appropriate for tonight. 😂
Somewhere along the way, she became so much more than just a friend to me. She became family — someone I can always count on and someone I’m so grateful to have in my life.
One of my favorite things has been getting to watch her and David love each other and grow together. The love she has for him is something I’ve always admired. Seeing the two of you together honestly makes me believe even more in finding your person.
David, thank you for loving Veronica, for making her happy, and for loving her kids too. I can see how much you love all of them, and that means everything to the people who love her.
Veronica, I love you so much. I’m so proud of you, so happy for you, and so grateful that I got to stand beside you on one of the biggest days of your life.
My prayer for both of you is that you always stay close, keep laughing, keep choosing each other, keep praying together, and never forget how much you love each other.
So raise your glasses to Veronica and David. I love you guys, and I wish you a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness.
