Here are some tips for a successful home appraisal:

✔ Clean and tidy your home before the appraisal.
✔ Repair any necessary damage.
✔ Highlight recent renovations and improvements.
✔ Provide a list of comparable homes that have recently sold in your area.
✔ Be cooperative and answer the appraiser's questions.

If you disagree with the appraisal results, you can dispute it with the lender. However, lenders are not obligated to accept disputed appraisals.
