Nicole and Chris reached out to me on June 12th, seeking guidance as first-time homebuyers. At first, I admit, I had my doubts, wondering if it could be a scam, but I promptly responded to their inquiry nonetheless. 😄
We met via Zoom on June 17th. June 19th, we toured a few potential homes to get a sense of their preferences in real life. They had flexibility with no intentions of buying right away, not in a rush to make an immediate purchase unless they found the perfect fit. I assured them that I was fully committed to working on their timeline.
June 21st, they were Pre-Approved, and we proceeded to visit more homes that day, coincidentally being Nicole's birthday. I couldn't resist stopping by a local bakery to surprise her with some cupcakes. 🧁 😋
While we were together, they decided they wanted to move forward with an offer on one of the homes we viewed days prior. Sadly, it was already in escrow. I encouraged them, explaining now that they were truly ready, I used the clichéd phrase "time is of the essence" (kindly of course 😄), assuring them that everything happens for a reason. I promised to find them an even better home than they had initially considered.
After a few more tours that same day, I found the perfect 10/10 home for them, while it was still in “Coming Soon" status. They were ready to make an offer before physically visiting the property. 🥹
We were able to cancel the launch weekend, canceling all open houses. We managed to secure their dream home within days of meeting.🥳
The experience of working with the Listing Agent on this transaction was amazing. He was a true professional and destined for a successful career in the real estate business. I’m honored to have been a part of his first-ever real estate deal. 🤩🙏🏼
The twist to the story. Remember the friend who referred Nicole and Chris to me? Turns out, it was an incredibly sweet Zillow lead I had connected with about two years ago. Though she had moved out of state, we periodically stayed in touch as friends on social media. Her unexpected referral was hands down the most rewarding referral ever, and it reminded me of the impact one can have on others.
Who you work with truly matters.🙏🏼♥️
