The Carlsbad Cottage

This was an extensive remodel and addition to a 1950’s home in Carlsbad, CA. To avoid the dreaded, time-consuming, and expensive Coastal Development Permit (CDP), sk7 utilized the 50% demo rule.

The Bird Rock Residence

A new custom home designed for a double corner lot in Bird Rock/ La Jolla, CA.

The Bird Rock Residence will be two stories will a full basement, subterranean garage, roof deck, and an attached ADU. All zoning parameters and requirements were pushed. A Coastal Development Permit will be required...it’s a doozy. Projected completion date…2055…95% of the time spent will be going through Coastal and waiting on the City of San Diego’s Building Department.
