What has travel taught you? Our first solo trip taught me that the world is huge and we're so small and always have so much to learn, how hard work pays off, and good things take time. I'm glad I learned that before I was 20.

It took and I a year and a half, multiple "disagreements" (lol, fights😅) and way too many less-than-minimum-wage 12-hour work days to make our Italy trip happen. But I wouldn't have it any other way. Grateful for our amazing trip, but even more grateful for all the lessons that come with it.

My grandpa is one of my 'why's.' Like, why I work to make sure that not just my small family is set up now, but also to make sure that our future generations are set up too. Miss him, and will never stop honoring his memory.

I was trying to melt my brain on Netflix when this quote hit me like a truck from the show I was watching. It wasn't even a dramatic show! It's funny that we can pick up random quotes from anywhere, and they can all of a sudden mean so much to us. It definitely kicked my butt to hear it, had to get up and start working again!

and I were just 19 when we reached our goal and took a two-week trip around Italy by ourselves. People thought we were lucky that our parents gave us money to do it, but it was 100% our funds. We both got frustrated so many times while we tried to make it happen, but it was worth it. Swipe to see my three favorite views from Venice!

After our trip, we had a conversation with a few people older than us and they told us that they'd always wanted to go to Italy. When we encouraged them to go, they said they haven't had the time. Those people would have even less time now than they did before, when they first thought of going- so if they don't even have the time still, when will they? You can be 25 or 45 and feel like you're too busy and don't have the time. Time is something we will never get back, so if it's important enough to you, we have to make time.

Obviously, people can get stuck if they’re
always hearing only negative, but it took me longer to
learn that people can get stuck when they surround
themselves with people who are supportive, but are just
the exact same as them. You can’t grow without
challenges, discomfort, constructive criticism. This
