I have to thank for supporting parents and their careers. Thanks to them I have been able to gain more recognition within our daycare facilities. The point is to not just offer my assistance, but also be one of resource. I know like me, there are other parents who feel the same way.

They were well received at Summer’s daycare. They have a table for parent to market their business and with Summer camp going, it just made sense.

In the early morning of Dec. 6th, 2018, two F/A-18s assigned to Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 242, based in Iwakuni, Japan, met off the coast with a KC-130J bearing the call sign Sumo 41 from Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 152. During a routine refueling of the jets in the middle of the night, one of the F/A-18s crashed into a refueling aircraft, and killed six Marines.

This one, hit close to home. Although when we learned of this tragedy, I was assigned to VMFA (AW)-225, my very first duty station was actually VMFA (AW)-242. We were in Korea awaiting our flight back home with (VMGR)-152. I took this picture the day we came back “home” (Japan). You could feel the mourning and the loss of our fallen comrades throughout the whole flight.

Unfortunately, we tend to take these occupational hazards for granted. Remember that not all of the fallen, die in battle. Some die doing their everyday jobs, but the loss is always felt the same.

Yay! We found the model that works for my client and her family! ❤️ As a Veteran, I understand the stresses of military life such as, a relocation. PCS season is upon us and the market has taken a turn. We are seeing so much activity that builders are now having waitlists again and that also means that they won’t be offering incentives 💸 the way the have been. Remember that with new construction homes you have to allow a 3-6 month period for the project 🛠️ to be completed, sometimes an opportunity presents itself and you gotta move! 💨

In real estate all clients matter, regardless of how big a sale will be. My elderly client who has become such a good friend of mine throughout this process, has had a lot of challenges to overcome 😮‍💨. Finally, we found something that works and is worth the money. The amount of stress this find has put me through…is unimaginable, but I could never just walk away from such a gentle soul. Should all go well, she should be able to move from her current home and finally be closer to family 😊

So it’s no secret that since the new year, there has been an uptick on rep estate activity.

“The average interest rate for a 30-year fixed-rate home loan fell to 6.09% for the week ending Feb. 2, according to Freddie Mac. That’s down nearly a full percentage point from October’s 20-year high of 7.08%.

Meanwhile, the number of homes for sale is soaring, flying 71% higher for the week ending Jan. 28 compared with this same week a year earlier, according to a recent analysis by Realtor.com®.”

People always ask if it’s the right time to buy, but the real questions should be… Does it make sense for my circumstances and are finances ready to buy a home today? Because it’s always better to pay off your own mortgage than someone else’s mortgage.
