Big shoutout to my client and friend Collin! He reached out with a vision of finding the perfect place here in San Diego as he aimed to split time between here and his home in Chicago. From day one, he came with clarity, trust, and a great vibe.
Since he wasn’t local, I toured properties on FaceTime and recorded videos so he could get a real feel for the homes. One in particular didn’t catch our eye at first—thanks to some very underwhelming iPhone photos—but once Collin was in town, we decided to check it out anyway.
And wow—what a surprise. We both immediately saw the incredible value. The Carlsbad location, proximity to the ocean and La Costa resort, multiple outdoor spaces (including an upstairs deck), and just the right amount of space—it checked every box.
We ended up locking it down for $125,000 under the original asking price plus negotiated some key repairs. This was one of my favorite transactions in the past six months—our communication styles aligned perfectly and the entire process felt smooth, collaborative, and just… right.
Congrats again, Collin I’m confident this home will only grow on you more and more over time!
