this day was about a year ago, and nothing has ever been so powerful in my life.
I’m so grateful to be completely healthy and healed, and to be able to have such a great opportunity to slow down, to trust, and enjoy the company of my family.
I want to take this opportunity to thank natural healing. All the doctors wanted to give me OxyContin & narcos around the clock and they were super worried how I would heal my bones as a vegan.
However, I knew I didn’t need to be drugged up and began each morning and ended each night in meditation sending healing energy to my bones. Once I got out of the hospital I ate all anti inflammatory foods/herbs, leafy greens and CBD pills and creams 🌻 (& I began walking again 3 months earlier than expected) ...
During this time of bed rest and wheelchair days, I have never felt energy so strongly, I could literally feel in my whole body how negative thinking affects the body/mind and spirit. This knowing inspires me to keep letting go of negativity and relationships/ habits that bring about more negativity.

Those moments when I was falling, I saw a vision of the woman I always wanted to become. I was so sad I would never get to do all the things that God set on my heart. With so much love, I promise myself to become that woman.

Personally one of the first art pieces I ever connected to, and a reflection of heightened anxiety as society became modern, and the piercing feeling of an existencial crisis. Also one of the first major paintings to express inner thoughts and emotions, becoming a key inspiration for the movement of Expressionism ☺️
