Happy sellers and delighted new owners! I met my buyer’s, the Cruz family, back at the end of December last year. A couple weeks later we received a counteroffer on one of the properties that they really liked.

The response from the sellers was that they would credit us $20,000 instead of $25,000 towards closing costs and interest rate buy down. We ended up taking the offer.

At the time they were quoted a 7.2% interest rate and I recommended a second lender that I work closely with . We were able to get them down to a 5.5% interest rate saving them almost $800 per month!!! Their $6300 mortgage went down to $5575!!!!
